XTA DC1048 – 4-In / 8-Out Audio Management Processor

The XTA DC1048 is a professional-grade audio processor offering four inputs and eight outputs in a compact 1U rack unit. It’s designed for fixed installations, multi-zone sound systems, and live environments where detailed audio control, reliability, and scheduling capabilities are critical.

Audio Architecture

• Four electronically balanced analog inputs

• Eight electronically balanced analog outputs

• Full 4×8 signal routing matrix — any input can be routed to any output or combination of outputs

• Built-in sample rate conversion to handle various digital sources

• 96 kHz internal processing with 24-bit resolution for pristine signal quality

• Less than 0.001% distortion and greater than 110 dB dynamic range

Input Processing

• Each input channel provides:

  • 8 parametric EQ bands with fully adjustable frequency, Q, and gain

  • Multiple filter shapes including bell, notch, shelving, and all-pass

  • Gain control, polarity reversal, and delay settings

Output Processing

• Each output channel includes:

  • 9 parametric EQ bands

  • High-pass and low-pass filters with selectable slope types and curves

  • Output delay adjustable up to 650 ms with fine resolution

  • Independent gain, mute, and polarity controls

  • Limiting features:

    • Program limiter with user-defined threshold, attack, and release

    • D-Max look-ahead clip limiter for system protection

Time Management and Presets

• Real-time clock with calendar for scheduled events

• Up to 20 presets stored locally, with support for timed auto-recall

• 16 external presets can be triggered via GPIO (contact closure inputs)

• Preset lockout and password protection available
