The LMS‑D6 is a dedicated digital loudspeaker management system designed for Turbosound installations and configured as a custom variant of the XTA DP226. Featuring two inputs and six independent outputs, it provides flexible crossover control, time alignment, EQ shaping, and reliable speaker protection in a 1U enclosure.
System Configuration & Routing
- Two balanced input channels, each with independent gain and delay controls
- Six balanced outputs, individually configurable
- Five predefined crossover maps: 3×2‑way, 2×3‑way, 4‑way, 5‑way, and full 6‑way modes
- Full matrix routing allows any input to be assigned to any combination of outputs or summed
DSP Capabilities
- High-resolution 96 kHz / 24‑bit internal DSP for wide frequency bandwidth (> 30 kHz)
- Input channel DSP includes gain, delay, and optional phase control
- Output DSP includes parametric filters or EQ, gain, polarity, mute control, and per‑channel delay with microsecond resolution
- Adjustable crossover filters with slopes up to 24 dB/octave and selectable filter types (Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz‑Riley)
Timing & Limiter Functions
- Output delay up to approximately 650 ms, with fine resolution for precise driver alignment
- Built-in limiters per output channel: user-adjustable thresholds and recovery timing
- Mute and clip indicators for each output channel enable easy monitoring and fault detection
