Beautiful transitional early 4001! Very cool and rare bass with big headstock and no horseshoe. Love it! It’s been refinished in its original color and looks stunning. The binding has also been redone perfectly and looks great. There is a professionally done p bass route but is visible only under the guard. All the electronics are original and sounds absolutely killer. The switch was replaced along with the guard. This is a mono output! Very nice figured neck and great playing action. The bass has been restored to near perfect condition and is a real gem! The only blemish on the bass currently is two small holes on the headstock from two removed string trees. Very cool and super collectible.
