Mc2 Delta 40 SLAVE
$1,100.00
The MC² Delta 40 Slave amplifier is designed to work under the command of a Delta DSP master unit, offering flexible, high-power amplification with automatic backup capability. With four-channel Class‑D performance, relay-controlled standby operation, and reliable failover functionality, it is tailored for professional environments where uninterrupted audio delivery is key.
MC² Delta 40 Slave – 4‑Channel Slave Power Amplifier
The MC² Delta 40 Slave is a streamlined version of the Delta Series amplifier line. Designed to operate under control of a master Delta DSP unit, it provides high-powered amplification in a 2U chassis, without onboard DSP processing.
Power Output & Amplification
- Four independent Class‑D amplifier channels
- Approximate maximum power per channel:
- 500 W into 8 Ω
- 1000 W into 4 Ω
- 1400 W into ~2.7 Ω
- 1200 W into 2 Ω
- Bridge mode options:
- Up to 2000 W into 8 Ω
- Up to 2400 W into 4 Ω
- Built for high-efficiency operation and capable of driving demanding loudspeaker loads reliably
Operation as a Slave Unit
- Operates paired with a Delta DSP-enabled “master” amplifier
- Receives control signals and audio via network or analog link
- Automatically enters standby mode until activated by the master unit over the GPI control line
- If the master fails or experiences a fault, the slave amplifies and seamlessly takes over output to maintain system continuity
→ Offers built-in backup protection for live applications
→ When master recovers, slave returns to standby status
Control & Interface
- Controlled via relay signal from the master amplifier over GPI
- No front-panel DSP editing required—routing, limiting, and DSP control handled by master
- Connects via analog inputs or optional Dante / network interface depending on configuration
- Speaker wiring must be connected to both master and slave to enable automatic switchover functionality
